Fencing in Omaha & Lincoln
Privacy and security, built dead straight and backed by our workmanship warranty.
Fencing done the Paragon way
A fence is the part of your exterior you look at every single day, and the one your neighbors look at too. So we build it to read the same from both sides, we set the posts for Nebraska wind and frost heave, and we keep the top line dead straight even when the ground is not. Those are the three things that separate a fence that looks good for twenty years from one that starts leaning in three.
Cedar privacy is the fence most Omaha and Lincoln homeowners ask for, and for good reason: it looks great, costs less up front than vinyl, and takes a stain well. Shadowbox gives both sides the good side. Vinyl costs more and needs almost nothing. Ornamental steel keeps kids and dogs in without blocking the view. We build all of them, and we will tell you which one fits your yard and your Saturdays.
If your neighborhood has an HOA, we have been through the submittal and approval process plenty of times. Bring us your covenants and we will handle the paperwork with you before a single post goes in. Every fence carries our workmanship warranty on top of the material warranties.
Signs it is time
When to call about fencing
Posts leaning after a windstorm
Posts that were set too shallow or without enough concrete give up in the first big wind. Straightening rarely holds. Resetting does.
Rot at the bottom of the boards
Pickets touching soil or sitting in wet mulch rot from the bottom up. The fix is a new fence built with clearance.
You just moved in
New house, no fence, dog waiting by the door. We build a lot of first fences for new owners, HOA approval included.
One side is falling apart
Sometimes only one run needs replacing. We match the rest of the yard so it does not look patched.
The gate drags or will not latch
Sagging gates are usually a post problem. We hang gates on posts that are set to carry them.
You want privacy from a new neighbor
A 6-foot cedar privacy fence changes how a backyard feels. It is the most common project we build.
What we install
Fencing options we build with
Cedar privacy
The Omaha standard. Six-foot dog-ear or flat-top cedar pickets, set for privacy, ready for stain. Costs less than vinyl up front.
Shadowbox
Alternating pickets on both sides of the rails, so the fence looks finished from your yard and your neighbor's. Lets a little air through in the wind.
Vinyl privacy
White or tan vinyl panels that never need staining or painting. Costs more than cedar, and then costs nothing for years.
Ornamental steel
Black steel pickets that keep kids and dogs in without blocking the view. The right pick for front yards and pools.
Composite
Wood look with vinyl maintenance. The premium option when you want the appearance of cedar without the upkeep.
Gates and repairs
Single and double gates hung on posts set to carry them. Single-run replacements matched to what is already there.
How it goes

- 3Written estimateStyle, height, gate count and any tear-out called out separately, with more than one material option when it makes sense.
- 4Utility locates and buildLocates called in, old fence out, posts set in concrete, then rails and pickets. Most fences are finished in one to two days.

What moves the price
Every quote is written and itemized. These are the things that change the number.
- Total linear feet and fence height
- Material: cedar, vinyl, steel or composite
- Number of gates, and whether any are double gates
- Tear-out and haul-away of an existing fence
- Grade changes, rock, or tight access that slows the post work
